Open Ear Productions was established in 1993.
We are located 4 miles from Kinvara,
6 miles from Gort and 4
miles from
Ardrahan, south of Galway City in the
west of Ireland.
The majority of our clients, both individual
artists and groups, stem from the popular
traditional Irish music scene as well as
from contemporary, jazz and other genres.
We provide

Music/Audio Production
Our new recording and post-production studio
was designed and built in 2008 after years
of experience. It has a very unique layout,
a diamond shaped, symetric control room with
rooms all around and views into the countyside.
The digital recording system is fully automated
and also allows mobile recording at any location.

Post Production
We offer a full digital
editing/mastering
service. If your recording
was done elsewhere,
we can edit, mix and master
your recordings
to have it ready for manufacture.
CD Manufacture
We assist you through all
the options and
specifications including
design, printing
and manufacture of the
CDs at the very highest
quality done at Sony DADC
in Austria.
On-line CD Catalogue
A collection of Irish traditional
and contemporary
music is available on our
website.
